9 But thou shalt kill him; your hand must be on him first of all to kill him, and then the hands of all the people;
10 Stone him unto death, for he hath sought to turn thee away from the LORD thy God, who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
11 All Israel shall hear these things, and shall be afraid, and they shall no more do such evil among thee.
12 And if thou hearest of any of thy cities which the LORD thy God giveth thee to dwell in,
13 That wicked men appeared in it from among you, and offended the inhabitants of their city, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods, which you did not know,'
14 then seek out, search, and inquire well; And if it is true that this abomination has occurred among you,
15 Thou shalt smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, thou shalt put to its curse all that is in it, and smite its cattle with the edge of the sword.
16 And thou shalt gather up all its spoils in the midst of its square, and thou shalt burn up the city with fire, and all its spoils for a burnt offering to the LORD thy God, and it shall be forever in ruins, and it shall never be built up again.
17 Let no cursed thing stick to thy hand, that the Lord may subdue the fury of his wrath, and give thee mercy, and have mercy on thee, and multiply thee, as he swore to thy fathers,
18 if thou hearest the voice of the Lord thy God, keeping all his commandments which I now command thee, doing good things in the sight of the LORD thy God.
Chapter 14
1 Ye are the sons of the Lord your God; you shall not make cuts in your body, nor cut the hair over your eyes after the dead;
2 For you are a holy people with the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be his own people out of all the nations that are on the earth.
3 Thou shalt not eat any abomination.
