11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all of the same: for this reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,

12 saying, "I will declare thy name unto my brethren; in the midst of the congregation I will sing praises to Thee.

E-13 And again, I'll trust in Him. And again: Here I am, and the children whom God has given me.

14 Wherefore, as children are partakers of flesh and blood, so he also became a partaker of flesh and blood, that by death he might bring to naught him who had power over death, that is, the devil,

15 and to deliver all those who, in fear of death, had been subjected to slavery all their lives.

16 For surely he did not receive angels, but the seed of Abraham he received.

17 Therefore he had to be like the brethren in all things, that he might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in the service of God for the propitiation for the sins of the people.

18 For because he suffered, being himself tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.

Hebrews 3

1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, look unto the Messenger and High Priest of our confession, Jesus,

2 Who is faithful to him who set him up, as Moses was, in all his house.

3 For he was worthy of greater glory than Moses, because he who built a house has greater honor than the house itself.

4 For every house has a builder, and God is the builder of all things.

5 For if Moses is faithful in all his house, as a minister to bear witness to the things that ought to have been said,

6 then Christ as the Son is above his house. And we are His house, if we keep firm to the end the boldness and praise of hope.

7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, "Today, if you hear his voice,

8 Harden not your hearts, as in the trouble in the day of temptation in the wilderness,

9 where your fathers tempted me, putting me to the test, and saw my works

10 forty years. Therefore I was indignant at this generation, and said, They are always in error in their hearts; and they have not known my ways.

11 And so I swore in my wrath, that they shall not enter into my rest.

12 Take heed, brethren, lest any of you have a heart of evil and unbelieving, and that he depart from the living God,
