The Psalter of the Prophet David (in Russian translation by P. Yungerov)

O Lord Jesus Christ, Thou art my Helper, I am in Thy hands, help me, forsake me not to sin against Thee, for I am in error, forsake me not to follow the will of my flesh, despise me not, O Lord, for I am weak. Thou dost weigh what is useful to me, forsake me not, my sins perish, forsake me not, O Lord, depart not from me, for I have fled to Thee, teach me to do Thy will, for Thou art my God. Heal my soul, for Thou hast sinned, save me for the sake of Thy mercy, for before Thee are all those who are in cold to me, and there is no other refuge for me but Thou, O Lord. Let all those who rise up against me and seek my soul be ashamed, for Thou art the only Mighty One, O Lord, in all, and Thine is the glory for ever and ever, Amen.

109. Psalm of David.

The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool. The Lord will send you a rod of power from Zion, and rule among your enemies. Power is with Thee in the day of Thy power in the splendor of Thy saints. "Out of the womb before Lucifer I begat Thee." The Lord swore and will not repent: Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. The Lord at Thy right hand shall smite kings in the day of His wrath. He will execute judgment on the nations, he will fill (the earth) with carcasses, he will break the heads of many on the earth, he will drink from the stream on the way, therefore he will lift up his head.

110. Alleluia.

I will confess to Thee, O Lord, with all my heart in the assembly and assembly of the righteous. Great are the works of the Lord; His desires are exquisite in everything! Praise and splendor are His work, and His righteousness endures for ever and ever. He made His miracles memorable. The Lord is merciful and bountiful: He has given food to those who fear Him, He will remember His covenant forever. He hath made known the power of his works unto his people, that he might give them the inheritance of the Gentiles. The works of His hands are truth and righteousness, all His commandments are true, They are established for ever and ever, inscribed in truth and righteousness. He hath sent deliverance unto his people, hath commanded his covenant for ever. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the understanding is good in all who are guided by it.

111. Alleluia. Psalm.

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, he will love His commandments very much. His seed shall be mighty in the earth, and the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Fame and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures for ever and ever. The light of the upright shone in the darkness: it is merciful, and generous, and righteous. A good man who gives generously will arrange his affairs in judgment, so that he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered eternally, Will not be afraid of evil rumors. His heart is ready to trust in the Lord, his heart is steadfast, he will not fear until he sees (the destruction) of his enemies. He has squandered: he has given to the poor, his righteousness endures for ever and ever, his power will be exalted in glory. The sinner will see (this) and be angry, gnashing his teeth and melting. The sinner's desire will perish.

Glory:

112. Alleluia.

Praise the Lord, young men, praise the name of the Lord. Blessed be the name of the Lord from now on and forevermore. From the east of the sun to the west, glorious is the name of the Lord. The Lord is high above all nations, His glory is higher than the heavens. Who, like the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high, And looketh upon the humble in heaven and on earth, Who lifteth up the poor from the earth, and exalteth the poor from festering, That he may sit him with princes, with the princes of His people, Who dwelleth the barren in the house of a mother who rejoiceth over her children.

113. Alleluia.

After the exodus of Israel from Egypt, the house of Jacob from the barbarian people, Judah became His holiness, and Israel His province. The sea saw and fled, the Jordan turned back. The mountains leaped like rams, and the hills like lambs of sheep. What is the matter with you, O sea, that you have fled? And what is the matter with you, Jordan, that you have turned back? The mountains, that you leaped like rams, and the hills like lambs among sheep? At the presence of the Lord the earth was moved, at the presence of the God of Jacob, Who turned the stone into lakes of water, and the uncut stone into springs of water. Give glory not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to Thy name, according to Thy mercy and Thy truth! Let not the Gentiles ever say, 'Where is their God?' But our God in heaven and on earth has created all that He willed. The idols of the Gentiles, silver and gold, are the works of human hands: they have lips, but they will not speak, they have eyes, but they will not see; They have ears, but they will not hear; they have nostrils, but they do not smell; They have hands, but they do not touch; they have legs, but they will not walk; they shall not utter a voice with their throats. Like unto them be those who make them, and all who trust in them! The house of Israel trusted in the Lord; He is an assistant and protector for them. The house of Aaron trusted in the Lord; He is an assistant and protector for them. Those who fear the Lord have trusted in the Lord, He is their helper and protector. The Lord, remembering us, blessed us: blessed the house of Israel, blessed the house of Aaron, blessed those who fear the Lord, small and great. May the Lord grant good to you, to you and to your sons. Blessed are you by the Lord, who created the heavens and the earth. The highest heaven belongs to the Lord, and He has given the earth to the sons of men. Not the dead will praise Thee, O Lord, nor all who descend into Hades, but we who are alive will bless the Lord from henceforth and forevermore.

114. Alleluia.
