Psalms-Psalter in translations (arrangements) in verse

The wicked one counts himself above all,

As long as I did not bring the wrath of God,

Neglecting the truth; he does not think:

"God's judgment is inevitable, though far away!"

In another language is evil destruction,

Bile and a curse on his lips,

He hides in secret places,

The one who is poor and weak, lying in wait.

He says: "My path is inconspicuous,

God will not see the deeds of the wicked!"

But, O God, Thou art appear, and do not forget

Neither oppressive nor oppressed.

Again the wicked thinks: "He will not seek

The Lord is from me, so that I have the fear of God!"

And the other one, offended and poor,

Weeping with God's word on his lips.

Thus do, O Lord, retribution,

Sweep away the pagans from their land,

Crush their arm, so that in the future there will be dishonor

On this land it was impossible to find.

O Lord, hear the moans of men,

Strengthen those in whom there is no more strength,

That the orphan and the rest of the oppressed

Man has never frightened us!

9TH PSALM (DAVID)

I praise the Almighty God with my heart,

I proclaim to all the triumph of the Lord's miracles.

In Him I rejoice, and there is much joy in my heart,

and all my songs in His name and glory.

My enemies will turn back and perish without a fight,
