How to Read the Bible

So that my sheep shall eat that which is trampled under your feet, and drink that which is disturbed by your feet?

Therefore thus saith the Lord God unto them, Behold, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.

For you push with your side and shoulder, and with your horns you butt all the weak, until you push them out,

then I will save my sheep, and they shall no longer be plundered, and I will judge between the sheep and the sheep.

And I will appoint one shepherd over them to shepherd them, my servant David; He will shepherd them, and he will be their shepherd.

And I, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David will be a prince among them. I, the Lord, have said this.

And I will make a covenant of peace with them, and will remove the fierce beasts from the land, that they may dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the forests.

I will give them and the neighbourhood of my hill a blessing, and I will send down rain in due season; it will be rains of blessing.

And the tree of the field shall bear its fruit, and the earth shall yield its produce; and they shall be safe in their land, and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of their captors.

They shall no longer be a prey to the nations, neither shall the beasts of the field devour them; they will live in safety, and no one will frighten them.

And I will make a glorious planting among them, and they will no more perish of hunger in the land, nor suffer shame from the nations.

And they shall know that I, the Lord their God, am with them, and they, the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord God,

and that ye are my sheep, the sheep of my pasture; you are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God.
