15 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

16 And thou, son of man, take unto thee one rod, and write upon it, To Judah, and to the children of Israel, who are allied with him; and also take a rod and write on it: "To Joseph"; it is the rod of Ephraim, and of all the house of Israel, which is allied with him.

17 And thou shalt lay them together one with the other in one rod, that they may be one in thy hand.

18 And when the children of thy people shall ask thee, 'Wilt thou not explain to us what these are with thee?'

19 Then say to them, 'This is what the Lord God says: Behold, I will take the rod of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel allied with him, and I will put them to it, to the rod of Judah, and I will make them one rod, and they will be one in my hand.'

20 And when the two rods on which thou shalt write shall be in thy hand before their eyes,

21 then say unto them, 'Thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I will take the children of Israel out of the midst of the nations among which they are, and I will gather them from every side, and bring them into their land.'

22 In this land, on the mountains of Israel, I will make them one people, and one King will be king over them all, and they will no longer be two nations, and they will no longer be divided into two kingdoms.

23 And they shall no more defile themselves with their idols, and their abominations, and with all their vices, and I will deliver them from all their places of residence where they have sinned, and I will cleanse them, and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

24 А раб Мой Давид будет Царем над ними и Пастырем всех их, и они будут ходить в заповедях Моих, и уставы Мои будут соблюдать и выполнять их.

25 И будут жить на земле, которую Я дал рабу Моему Иакову, на которой жили отцы их; там будут жить они и дети их, и дети детей их во веки; и раб Мой Давид будет князем у них вечно.

26 И заключу с ними завет мира, завет вечный будет с ними. И устрою их, и размножу их, и поставлю среди них святилище Мое на веки.

27 И будет у них жилище Мое, и буду их Богом, а они будут Моим народом.

28 И узнают народы, что Я Господь, освящающий Израиля, когда святилище Мое будет среди них во веки.
