"Paul, and Silvanus, and Timothy, unto the churches of Thessalonica which are in God the Father, and in the Lord Jesus Christ: grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We always thank God for all of you, remembering you in our prayers, constantly remembering your work of faith and the labor of love, and the patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ before God and our Father" (1 Thessalonians 1:1-3).
