Диакон: «Чтобы удостоиться нам услышать Святое Евангелие, Господу Богу помолимся». Народ: «Господи, помилуй». (Трижды). Диакон: «Премудрость. Стойте благоговейно. Услышим Святое Евангелие». Священнику благословляя: «Мир всем». Народ: «И в твоей душе да будет мир». Священник, обернувшись лицом к народу, возглашает: «Чтение Святого Евангелия от (имя Апостола)». Народ: «Слава Тебе, Господи, слава Тебе».

Священник читает Св. Евангелие лицом к народу; по окончании чтения полагает его на аналой посреди храма для поклонения и лобзания. Народ же поет: «Слава Тебе, Господи, Слава Тебе».. Воскресение Христово видя, поклонимся Святому Господу Иисусу, Одному безгрешному. Поклоняемся Кресту Твоему, Христе, воспеваем и прославляем Твое Святое–Воскресение, ибо Ты — Бог наш; кроме Тебя иного не знаем, имя Твое призываем. Приидите, все верные, поклонимся Святому Христову Воскресению, ибо чрез Крест пришла радость всему миру. Всегда восхваляя Господа, будем воспевать Воскресение Его, ибо Он, претерпев распятие, Своею смертию победил смерть». С недели «мытаря и фарисея»и до пятой недели Великою поста поются следующие песни:

Hl. 8: "Open to me the doors to repentance, O Giver of Life, for my spirit from early morning longs for Thy holy temple, bearing the entire defiled bodily temple; but You, as the Merciful, purify him according to Your ineffable mercy." Theotokos: "Direct me to the path of salvation, O Mother of God, for with shameful three times I have defiled my soul and carelessly spent my whole life, but by Thy prayers deliver me from all impurity." Hl. 6: "Reflecting on the multitude of evil deeds I have done, I, wretched, tremble before the dreadful day of judgment. But, trusting in the mercy of Thy condescension, like David, I call upon Thee: have mercy on me, O God, according to Thy great mercy."

On holidays, the festive stichera is sung. Deacon: "Save, O God, Thy people..." (p. 19). People: "Lord, have mercy." (12 times). Priest (10th prayer):

People: "Amen"

And he sings the irmoses with the canons, venerating the Holy Scriptures. The Gospel or the icon of the feast, anointed with consecrated oil by the priest, who says: "The servant of God is anointed with the oil of joy for the healing of soul and body in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen" and takes a portion of the bread consecrated during the divine service and sprinkled with wine, which, according to the teaching of the Church: "in those who eat with faith, it quenches the sickly fever, destroys fever, and in general heals all kinds of diseases and infirmities, and also protects the crops from destructive and harmful creatures" (Typikon: Rite of the All-Night Vigil, ch. 3). After the third and sixth cantos of the canon, the deacon pronounces the Little Litanies, at the end of which the priest proclaims the prayers:

(5 Morning Prayer). "Treasury of blessings, inexhaustible Source, Almighty Almighty, Holy Father, Worker of miracles, we pray to Thee, bowing down and calling upon Thy generosity and mercy to help and intercede for our insignificance; remember, O Lord, Thy servants, and receive from all of us fervent prayers, as incense offered to Thee; preserve us all according to Thy compassion, so that none of us may be rejected. Remember, O Lord, those who watch and sing Thy glory, and Thy Only-begotten Son, and our God, and Thy Holy Spirit; be their Helper and Intercessor, and receive their prayers on Thy heavenly and spiritual altar, for Thou art our God, and to Thee shall we send glory, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and always, and unto the ages of ages." People: "Amen."

(6th morning prayer). "We thank Thee, O Lord God, our salvation, Who doeth all things for the good of our lives, that we may always turn to Thee, the Saviour and Benefactor of our souls, for Thou didst give us rest last night and raised us from our beds, calling upon us to worship Thy Holy Name. Therefore, we pray to Thee, O Lord, to grant us grace and strength for intelligent singing and unceasing prayer, so that in fear and trembling we may work out our salvation with the help of Thy Christ. Remember, O Lord, those who call upon Thee even by night, hear them, and have mercy on them, and cast down under their feet invisible and attacking enemies, for Thou art the King of peace and the Saviour of our souls, and to Thee we send up glory, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and always, and unto the ages of ages." People: "Amen."

Before the ninth canon of the canon, the priest or deacon, after censing in the Altar and coming out onto the ambo, depicts the cross with the censer before the icon of the Theotokos and exclaims: "Let us magnify the Mother of God and the Mother of Light with songs." People: 1. "My soul magnifies the Lord, and My spirit rejoices in God My Savior." After each verse there is a refrain: "More honorable than the Cherubim and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim, Who gave birth to God the Word, the True Mother of God, we magnify Thee." 2. "That He looked upon the humility of His servant, for henceforth all generations shall delight Me." 3. "That the Mighty One hath made Me great, and holy is His name, and His mercy unto them that fear Him." 4. "He showed the strength of His arm, scattered the haughty with the thoughts of their hearts." 5. "He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has exalted the humble; He filled the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away empty-handed." 6. "He received Israel his servant, remembering mercy, as he had spoken to our fathers, to Abraham and his descendants forever."
