17 And Job died in old age, full of days. [34]

Psalm

Psalm 1

Psalm of David.

1 Blessed is the man who walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful,

5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.

Psalm 2

Psalm of David.

4 He that dwelleth in heaven shall laugh, and the Lord shall mock him.

5 Then shall he say unto them in his wrath, and with his wrath shall cause them to be troubled,

6 "I have anointed my King over Zion, my holy mountain;

7 I will declare the decree: The Lord said to me, Thou art my Son; I have begotten thee this day;
