Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

11 and therefore I have sworn in my wrath that they shall not enter into my rest."

Psalm 95

[Song of Praise of David, On the Building of a House.]

1 Sing a new song to the Lord; sing to the Lord, all the earth;

2 Sing unto the Lord, bless his name, preach his salvation from day to day.

3 proclaim his glory among the nations, his wonders in all nations.

4 For the Lord is great and praiseworthy, he is more terrible than all the gods.

5 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord created the heavens.

6 Glory and majesty in his sight, power and splendor in his sanctuary.

7 Render unto the Lord, ye nations of the nations, give unto the Lord glory and honor;

8 Give the Lord the glory of his name, bring gifts, and go into his courts.

9 worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness. Tremble before Him, all the earth!

10 Say to the nations, 'The Lord reigns!' therefore the universe is firm, it will not be shaken. He will judge the nations in righteousness.

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar and what fills it;

12 Let the field rejoice, and all that is in it, and let all the oak trees rejoice

13 before the Lord; for he is coming, for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness, and the nations according to his truth.

Psalm 96

[The Psalm of David, when his land was built.]

1 The Lord reigns: let the earth rejoice; yes, the numerous islands are having fun.

2 A cloud and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of His throne.

3 Fire goes before him, and burns his enemies all around.
