Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

15 And thou shalt make it thus: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits; and the breadth thereof shall be fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits.

16 And thou shalt make a hole in the ark, and thou shalt bring it together at the top of the cubit, and thou shalt make the door of the ark at its side. and thou shalt make in it the lower, second, and third [dwellings].

17 And behold, I will bring a flood of water upon the earth, to destroy all flesh in which there is a spirit of life under the heavens; everything that is on earth will lose its life.

18 But I will make my covenant with thee, and thou shalt enter into the ark, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.

19 And thou shalt also bring into the ark [of every beast, and of every creeping thing, and] of every living thing, and of every flesh, two by two, that they may live with thee; male and female, let them be.

20 Of all the fowls after their kind, and of the cattle after their kind, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after their kind, of all they shall come in two to thee, that they may live.

21 And thou shalt take unto thee all the food wherewith they eat, and gather unto thee; and it shall be food for thee and for them.

22 And Noah did all things: as God had commanded him, so he did.

Chapter 7

1 And the Lord said unto Noah, Enter thou and all thy household into the ark, for I have seen thee righteous before me in this generation;

2 And every clean beast thou shalt take seven, male and female, and of unclean cattle two, male and female.

3 And of the birds of the air, seven by seven, male and female, and of all the unclean birds, two male and female, to preserve the seed for all the earth,

4 for after seven days I will pour rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will destroy all that exists that I have created from off the face of the earth.

5 Noah did all that the Lord [God] commanded him.
