Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

Thou hast commanded Thy commandments to be kept fast.

Oh, that my ways would be directed to keep thy statutes!

Then I would not be ashamed, considering all thy commandments,

I would praise thee in uprightness of heart, learning the judgments of thy righteousness.

I will keep thy statutes; Don't leave me altogether.

How can a young man keep his way pure? – By keeping ourselves according to Thy word.

With all my heart I seek thee; do not let me deviate from Thy commandments.

In my heart I have hid thy word, that I may not sin against thee.

Blessed art thou, O Lord! teach me Thy statutes.

With my mouth I have declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

In the way of thy testimonies I rejoice, as in all riches.

I meditate on thy commandments, and behold thy ways.

By thy statutes I am comforted: I forget not thy word.

Show mercy to thy servant, and I will live and keep thy word.

Open my eyes, and I will see the wonders of thy law.

I am a stranger on earth; do not hide from me Thy commandments.

My soul is weary for the desire of thy judgments at all times.

Thou hast tamed the proud, the accursed, those who deviate from Thy commandments.

Take away from me reproach and shame, for I keep thy testimonies.

Princes sit and conspire against me, but Thy servant meditates on Thy statutes.

Thy testimonies are my comfort, and my counsellors.

My soul is cast into the dust; revive me according to Thy word.

I have declared my ways, and you have heard me; teach me Thy statutes.

Let me understand the way of thy commandments, and I will meditate on thy wonders.

My soul is faint with sorrow: strengthen me according to thy word.

Remove from me the way of falsehood, and give me thy law.

I have chosen the way of truth, I have set Thy judgments before me.

I have cleaved to thy testimonies, O Lord; do not shame me.
