Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

On this very day Noah entered into the ark, and Shem, Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and his sons' three wives with them.

They, and all the beasts after their kind, and every beast after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after their kind, and every one that flies after their kind, every bird, every winged one,

And they went into the ark unto Noah, two by two, of every flesh that hath the spirit of life.

And those who entered into the ark, male and female, of all flesh, entered in, as God had commanded him. And the Lord [God] shut [the ark] behind him.

And the flood continued on the earth forty days, and the waters abounded, and lifted up the ark, and it was exalted above the earth.

And the waters increased and abounded exceedingly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the waters.

And the waters of the earth increased exceedingly, so that all the high mountains that are under the whole heaven were covered;

And the waters rose up fifteen cubits above them, and the mountains were covered.

And all flesh that moveth upon the earth was lost of life, and the fowl, and the cattle, and the beasts, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and all men;

Everything that had the breath of the spirit of life in its nostrils on dry land died.

Every creature that was on the surface of the earth was destroyed; from man to cattle, and creeping things, and birds of the air, everything was destroyed from the earth, only Noah remained, and what was with him in the ark.

And the waters increased upon the earth a hundred and fifty days.
