Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

14 And every one of the beasts has four faces: the first face is the face of the cherubim, the second face is the face of man, the third person is the face of a lion, and the fourth person is the face of an eagle.

E-15 The cherubim went up. These were the same animals that I had seen by the river Khovar.

16 And when the Cherubim were coming, then the wheels were walking beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to rise from the earth, and the wheels were not separated, but were with them.

17 As they stood, they also stood; when they rose, they also rose; for they had the spirit of animals.

18 And the glory of the Lord departed from the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubim.

19 And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and were lifted up in my sight from the earth; when they were leaving, the wheels were beside them; And they stood at the entrance of the eastern gate of the house of the Lord, and the glory of the God of Israel above them.

20 These were the same beasts that I had seen at the foot of the God of Israel by the river Chebar. And I found out that they were Cherubim.

21 And every one had four faces, and each had four wings, and under their wings were the likeness of human hands.

22 And the likeness of their faces is the same as that which I saw by the river Chebar, both their appearance and themselves. Everyone walked straight in the direction that was in front of him.

Chapter 11

1 And the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me to the east gate of the house of the Lord, which is facing east. And behold, at the entrance of the gate there were twenty-five men; and among them I saw Jazanah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, the princes of the people.

2 And he said unto me, Son of man! These are the people who have iniquity on their minds, and who give evil counsel in this city;

3 saying, "It is not yet near; we will build houses; he is a cauldron, and we are meat."

4 Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.
