21 And he drank wine, and became drunk, and lay naked in his tent.

22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father's nakedness, and went out and told his two brethren.

23 And Shem and Japheth took the garment, and laid it on their shoulders, and went backwards, and covered their father's nakedness. their faces were turned back, and they did not see the nakedness of their father.

24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his youngest son had done to him,

25 And he said, 'Cursed is Canaan; he shall be the servant of his brethren.

26 And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; And Canaan shall be his servant;

27 Let God spread Japheth, and let him dwell in the tents of Shem; And Canaan shall be his servant.

28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.

29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years, and he died.

Chapter 10

1 This is the genealogy of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. After the flood, children were born to them.

2 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

3 The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.

4 The sons of Javan were Elisha, and Tarshish, and Kittim, and Dodanim.

5 From them dwelt the isles of the nations in their lands, every man according to his language, according to his families, in his nations.

6 The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Phut, and Canaan.

7 And the sons of Cush: Sheba, and Havilah, and Savta, and Raam, and Sabtech. The sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.

8 Cush also begat Nimrod; this one began to be strong on earth;

9 he was a mighty hunter before the LORD, wherefore it is said, A mighty hunter like Nimrod before the LORD.

10 His kingdom was in the beginning Babylon, Erech, Akkad, and Calneh in the land of Shinar.

11 Out of this land came Assyria, and built Nineveh, Rehoboth-ir, Calah
