Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

And when Moses was entering into the tabernacle, then a pillar of cloud came down and stood at the entrance of the tabernacle, and [the Lord] spoke to Moses.

And all the people saw a pillar of cloud standing at the entrance of the tabernacle; And all the people arose, and worshipped each one at the entrance of his tent.

And the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man spoke to his friend; and he returned to the camp; and his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle.

And Moses said unto the Lord, Behold, thou sayest unto me, Lead this people, and hast not made known unto me whom thou wilt send with me, though thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast found favor in my sight.

Therefore, if I have found favor in your sight, I pray, Reveal to me your way, that I may know you, that I may find favor in your eyes. and think that these people are Your people.

[The Lord] said [to him], 'I myself will go [before you] and bring you to rest.'

And he said unto him, 'If thou wilt not go with us, neither bring us out of hence,

For by what shall I know that I and thy people have found favor in thy sight? Is it not because of when Thou wilt go with us? then will I and Thy people be more glorious than any nation on earth.

And the Lord said unto Moses, And that which thou hast spoken, I will do, because thou hast found favor in my sight, and I know thee by name.

[Moses] said, 'Show me your glory.'

And he said to Moses, "I will bring all my glory before you, and I will declare the name of Jehovah before you, and whom I will have mercy on, I will have mercy on, and whom I will have compassion on."

And then he said, 'You cannot see my face, because a man cannot see me and live.'

And the Lord said, 'This is my place, stand on this rock;

And when my glory is past, I will set thee in the cleft of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand, until I pass through.
