Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments
From them dwelt the isles of the nations in their lands, every man according to his language, according to his families, in his nations.
The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Phut, and Canaan.
And the sons of Cush: Sheba, and Havilah, and Savta, and Raam, and Sabtech. The sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
Cush also begat Nimrod; this one began to be strong on earth;
he was a mighty hunter before the LORD, wherefore it is said, A mighty hunter like Nimrod before the LORD.
His kingdom was in the beginning Babylon, Erech, Akkad, and Calneh in the land of Shinar.
Out of this land came Assyria, and built Nineveh, Rehoboth-ir, Calah
and Resen between Nineveh and Calach; This is a great city.
From Mizraim came Ludim, Anamim, Legavim, Naphtuchim,
Patrusim, Kasluchim, whence the Philistines came, and Caphtorim.
And of Canaan were born Sidon, his firstborn, Heth,
Jebusite, Amorite, Gergesai,
Evei, Arkay, Blue,
Arvadeus, Cemareus, and Hiphameus. And the tribes of Canaan were scattered;
And were the borders of the Canaanites, from Sidon to Gerar to Gaza, and from thence to Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admeh, and Zeboim to Lasha.
These are the children of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.
And Shem, the father of all the sons of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, also had children.
And the sons of Shem: Elam, and Assyria, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gefer, and Mash.
Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
And Eber had two sons; the name of one is Peleg, because in his days the land is divided; his brother's name was Joktan.
