Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

And the Lord called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of meeting, saying,

And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any of you will offer a sacrifice unto the Lord, if it be of cattle, thou shalt offer thy sacrifice of the cattle of herd and of the flock.

If his sacrifice be a burnt offering of the herds, he shall offer it of the male sex, without blemish; let him lead her to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, that he may gain favor with the Lord;

And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and he shall find favor for the atonement of his sins.

And he shall kill the calf before the Lord; And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood on all sides upon the altar which is at the entrance of the tabernacle of meeting.

And he shall remove the skin from the burnt offering, and cut it in pieces;

And Aaron's sons the priests shall put fire upon the altar, and shall spread wood on the fire.

And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall lay out the parts, the head, and the fat on the wood that is on the fire on the altar;

And he shall wash the intestines of the offering, and the feet thereof, with water, and the priest shall burn all things upon the altar: it is a burnt offering, an offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

If the burnt offering of his [to the Lord] is of the flock, or of the sheep, or of the goats, he shall offer it a male, without blemish, [and he shall lay his hand on her head,]

And he shall kill it before the LORD on the north side of the altar, and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood on the altar round about.

And they shall cut it in pieces, separating its head and its fat, and the priest shall lay them out on the wood that is on the fire upon the altar,

And he shall wash the intestines and the feet with water, and the priest shall offer them all, and burn them on the altar: it is a burnt offering, an offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

And if he offers a burnt offering to the Lord of the birds, he shall offer his sacrifice of turtledoves, or of young pigeons;
