12 His shovel is in his hand, and he will purge his threshing floor, and gather his wheat into the garner, and the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.

13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John to be baptized by him.

14 And John restrained him, and said, 'I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?'

15 But Jesus answered and said to him, 'Leave it now, for thus it behooves us to fulfill all righteousness.' Then John admits Him.

Chapter 4

1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness, to be tempted by the devil,

2 And having fasted forty days and forty nights, he hungered at last.

3 And the tempter came unto him, and said, If thou art the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4 And he answered and said unto him, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

8 Again the devil takes him up to a very high mountain, and shews him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory,

9 And he saith unto him, All these things I will give unto thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

10 Then Jesus said to him, 'Get thee behind me, Satan, for it is written, 'Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.'

11 Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and ministered to him.

12 And when Jesus heard that John had been given up to custody, he withdrew into Galilee

13 And having left Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum by the sea, in the borders of Zebulun and Naphtali,
