1 And when he came down from the mountain, a great multitude followed him.

2 And behold, the leper came near, and bowed down unto him, saying, Lord! If you want, you can cleanse me.

3 And Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, and said, I will, be cleansed. And immediately he was cleansed of leprosy.

4 And Jesus said to him, 'See that you tell no man, but go and show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift which Moses commanded for a witness to them.'

5 And when Jesus entered into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, and besought him,

6 Lord! My servant lies at home in paralysis, and suffers terribly.

7 Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."

8 And the centurion answered, and said, "Lord! I am not worthy that Thou should come under my roof, but speak only the word, and my servant shall recover;

9 For I am also a subject man, but having soldiers under me, I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and come; And to my servant, Do this, and he does.

10 And when Jesus heard this, he was amazed, and said to those who followed him, 'Verily I say unto you, and in Israel I have not found such faith.'

11 But I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and the west, and shall sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven;

12 but the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

13 And Jesus said to the centurion, 'Go, and as you have believed, let it be done to you.' And his servant recovered in that hour.

14 And when Jesus came to the house of Peter, he saw his mother-in-law lying in a fever,

15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her; And she arose and ministered to them.

16 And when the evening was come, they brought to him many possessed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all the sick,

17 That it may be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet Isaiah, who says, He hath taken upon Himself our infirmities, and bore our sorrows.

18 And when Jesus saw a multitude of people around him, he commanded them to sail to the other side.

19 Then a certain scribe came and said to him, 'Teacher! I will follow You wherever You go.

20 And Jesus said to him, 'The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has not where to lay his head.'

21 And another of his disciples said to him, 'Lord! let me go first and bury my father.
