51 And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

52 Then Jesus said to him, 'Put your sword back in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword;

53 Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will give Me more than twelve legions of Angels?

54 How then shall the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?

55 And in that hour Jesus said to the people, 'As if you had gone out against a thief with swords and stakes to take me; I sat with you every day, teaching in the temple, and you did not take me.

56 And all these things were done, that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples, leaving Him, fled.

57 And those who took Jesus took him to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

58 And Peter followed him from afar, to the court of the high priest; And going in, he sat down with the attendants to see the end.

59 And the chief priests, and the elders, and all the Sanhedrin, sought false witness against Jesus, that they might put him to death,

60 and did not find; And, although many false witnesses came, they did not find them. But at last two false witnesses came

61 And they said, He said, I can destroy the temple of God, and build it up in three days.

62 And the high priest arose, and said to him, 'Why then do you answer nothing?' why do they bear witness against Thee?

E-63 Jesus was silent. And the high priest said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, tell us, art thou the Christ, the Son of God?

64 Jesus said to him, "You have spoken; even I say unto you, From henceforth ye shall see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.
