22 And when the days of their purification according to the law of Moses were fulfilled, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him before the Lord,

27 And he came by inspiration to the temple. And when the parents brought the child Jesus to perform a lawful rite on him,

35 And a sword shall pierce thy own soul, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

37 A widow of eighty-four years old, who did not leave the temple, serving God day and night with fasting and prayer.

38 And at that time she came and praised the Lord, and spoke of him to all who were waiting for deliverance in Jerusalem.

39 And when they had done all things according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their city of Nazareth.

40 And the child grew and was strengthened in spirit, being filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.
