And I will establish my covenant between me and thee, and I will multiply thee exceedingly.

I am my covenant with thee: thou shalt be the father of a multitude of nations;

and thou shalt no more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham, for I will make thee the father of a multitude of nations.

And I will make thee very profound, and I will make nations out of thee, and kings shall come forth from thee.

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee, and between thy descendants after thee throughout their generations, an everlasting covenant that I shall be thy God, and thy descendants after thee.

Eight days from birth, every male babe born in the house, and bought with money from some foreigner who is not of your seed, shall be circumcised in your generations.

Surely he that was born in thy house, and was bought with thy money, be circumcised, and my covenant shall be upon thy body an everlasting covenant.

But he who is uncircumcised is a male who does not circumcise his foreskin [on the eighth day], that soul shall be cut off from his people, for he has broken my covenant.
