Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

And the heron, and the plour of its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.

All winged creeping things are unclean to you, and you shall not eat them.

Eat every clean bird.

You shall not eat any dead thing; Give it to the stranger who happens to be within your gates, and he shall eat it, or sell it to him, for you are a holy people with the Lord your God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in its mother's milk.

Set aside the tithe from all the produce of your seed that comes out of your field every year,

And you shall eat before the LORD your God in the place which he shall choose to dwell his name there. [Offer] the tithes of your bread, your wine, and your oil, and the firstborn of your herds, and your flocks, that you may learn to fear the LORD your God always.

But if the way be long for you, so that you cannot bear it, because the place which the LORD your God will choose to put his name there is far from you, and the LORD your God has blessed you,

then thou shalt exchange it for silver, and take the silver in thy hand, and come to the place which the LORD thy God shall choose.

And thou shalt buy with this money all that thy soul desireth, oxen, sheep, wine, strong drink, and whatever thy soul shall require of thee. and you shall eat there before the LORD your God, and you and your family shall be glad.

And thou shalt not leave the Levite that is within thy gates, for he hath no portion or inheritance with thee.

And at the end of three years thou shalt set aside all the tithes of thy produce in that year, and lay them in thy gates;

And let the Levite come, for he has no part or inheritance with thee, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are within thy gates, and let them eat and be satisfied, that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thy hands that thou shalt do.
