Chapter 5. After departing from this life, there is no longer time for good works, because God, in His long-suffering, has appointed the time of the present life for doing what is necessary to please God.

(Matt. 25:1-12): "Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like unto the ten virgins, who, taking their lamps, went out to meet the bridegroom. Of these, five were wise and five were foolish. The foolish took their lamps, and did not take oil with them. And the wise ones, together with their lamps, took the oil in their vessels. And when the bridegroom tarried, they all dozed off and fell asleep. But at midnight there was a cry: "Behold, the bridegroom is coming, come out to meet him." Then all the virgins arose, and straightened their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, Give us your oil, for our lamps are going out. And the wise answered, "In order that there may be no shortage both among us and among you, it is better to go to those who sell and buy for yourselves." And when they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went with him to the wedding feast, and the doors were shut. then the other virgins come and say: Lord! God! open to us. And he answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

(Luke 13:24-25): "Strive to enter in at the strait gate, for, I say to you, many will seek to enter in, and will not be able. When the master of the house gets up and shuts the doors, then you, standing outside, will knock at the door and say: Lord! God! open unto us; but He will answer and say to you, I do not know where you come from."

(2 Corinthians 6:2-4): "Behold, now is the time of favor, behold, now is the day of salvation. We do not stumble to anyone in anything, so that the ministry is not blamed, but in everything we show ourselves as servants of God."

(Gal. 6:10): "Therefore, while there is time, let us do good to all."

Rule 2: That the diligence of those who wish to please God should be unrelated to nothing contrary and pure

Chapter 1. He who interferes in matters that are alien to godliness will not be able to serve God

(Matt. 6:24): "No one can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or he will be zealous for the one, and neglect the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."
