14 These are the rulers of their generations: the sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: Chanoch and Phallah, Hezron and Harmi: these are the families of Reuben.

15 And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ogad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Saul the son of the Canaanite woman: these are the families of Simeon.

16 These are the names of the sons of Levi after their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari. And the years of Levi's life were one hundred and thirty-seven.

17 And the sons of Gershon: Libni, and Shemei, and their families.

18 And the sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uziel. And the years of Kohath's life were one hundred and thirty-three years.

19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of Levi according to their kinds.

20 Amram took Jochebeda his aunt to be his wife, and she bore him Aaron and Moses [and Miriam their sister]. And the years of Amram's life were one hundred and thirty-seven.

21 And the sons of Izah-ah: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zehri.

22 And the sons of Uziel: Mishael, and Elzathan, and Sifri.

23 And Aaron took to wife Elizabeth, the daughter of Aminadab, the sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

24 The sons of Korah: Asher, Elkanah, and Abiasaf: these are the families of Korah.

25 Eleazar the son of Aaron took one of the daughters of Phuthiel to wife, and she bore him Phinehas. These are the leaders of the generations of the Levites according to their families.

26 Aaron and Moses, these are the ones to whom the Lord said, "Bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt according to their hosts."

27 And they spake unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that they might bring the children of Israel out of Egypt; these are Moses and Aaron.
