A complete Orthodox prayer book. For every need

O Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God, through the prayers of Thy Most-Pure Mother, our venerable and God-bearing fathers and all the saints, have mercy on us. Amen.

Prayers for the coming sleep

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Prayer of the Beginning

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, through the prayers of Thy Most-Pure Mother, our venerable and God-bearing fathers and all the saints, have mercy on us. Amen.

Glory to Thee, O our God, glory to Thee.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

From Pascha to Ascension, instead of this prayer, the troparion is read: "Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and giving life to those who are in the graves" (three times). From the Ascension to the Trinity, we begin our prayers with "Holy God...", omitting all the previous ones.

O Heavenly King, Comforter, Soul of truth, Who is everywhere present and fulfills all things, the Treasure of good things and the Giver of life, come and dwell in us, and cleanse us from all defilement, and save, O Blessed One, our souls.

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us (three times).

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

O Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us; Lord, cleanse our sins; O Lord, forgive our iniquities; O Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities, for Thy name's sake.

Lord, have mercy (three times).

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven! Hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, as it is in heaven and on earth. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Troparia

Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us; For every answer is perplexed, we offer this prayer to Thee, as the Lord of sinners: have mercy on us.

Glory: O Lord, have mercy on us, for in Thee we trust; Do not be angry with us, remember our iniquities below, but look upon us now as gracious, and deliver us from our enemies; For Thou art our God, and we are Thy people, all the works of Thy hand, and we call upon Thy name.

And now: Open the doors of mercy to us, O blessed Mother of God, that we may not perish who trust in Thee, but that we may be delivered from troubles by Thee: for Thou art the salvation of the Christian race.
