[218] объяви сынам Израилевым и скажи им: когда кто из вас хочет принести жертву Господу, то, если из скота, приносите жертву вашу из скота крупного и мелкого… Если жертва всесожжения его [Господу] из мелкого скота, из овец, или из коз, пусть принесет ее мужеского пола, без порока, [и пусть возложит руку на голову ее,]… Если же из птиц приносит он Господу всесожжение, пусть принесет жертву свою из горлиц, или из молодых голубей;

[219] И устроил Ной жертвенник Господу; и взял из всякого скота чистого и из всех птиц чистых и принес во всесожжение на жертвеннике.

[220] И начал Иона ходить по городу, сколько можно пройти в один день, и проповедывал, говоря: еще сорок дней и Ниневия будет разрушена!

[221] Моисей вступил в средину облака и взошел на гору; и был Моисей на горе сорок дней и сорок ночей.

[222] И встал он, поел и напился, и, подкрепившись тою пищею, шел сорок дней и сорок ночей до горы Божией Хорива.

[223] и, постившись сорок дней и сорок ночей, напоследок взалкал.

[224] которым и явил Себя живым, по страдании Своем, со многими верными доказательствами, в продолжение сорока дней являясь им и говоря о Царствии Божием.

[225] This month shall be for you the beginning of months, the first shall be among you a year...

[226] Today you go out, in the month of Abib.

[227] Observe the feast of unleavened bread: for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time of the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt; and let them not appear before me empty-handed;

[228] You shall observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to the Lord your God, for in the month of Abib the Lord your God brought you out of Egypt by night.

[229] Strive to enter in at the strait gate, for, I say to you, many will seek to enter in, and will not be able. When the master of the house gets up and shuts the doors, then you, standing outside, will knock at the door and say: Lord! God! open unto us; but He will answer and say to you, I do not know where you come from... There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves cast out.

[230] And from all countries they came to Egypt to buy corn from Joseph, for the famine had increased throughout all the land.

[231] And the hail smote all that was in the land of Egypt, all that was in the field, from man to cattle, and all the grass of the field he smote hail, and all the trees of the field he broke.
