·  for the carnal mind is enmity against God; for they do not obey the law of God, nor can they. (Romans 8:7)

· Adulterers and adulterers! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity against God? Thus, whoever wants to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. (James 4:4)

·  And the word of the Scripture was fulfilled: "Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness, and he was called the friend of God." (James 2:23)

·  You have not yet fought unto blood, fighting against sin, (Hebrews 12:4)

· solid food is characteristic of the perfect, whose senses are accustomed by habit to distinguish between good and evil. (Hebrews 5:14)

·  Recognize the Spirit of God (and the spirit of error) in this way: every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God, but is the spirit of the Antichrist, of whom you have heard that he is coming, and is now in the world. (1 John 4:2,3)

·  But whoever enters into the perfect law, the law of freedom, and abides in it, being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the deed, will be blessed in his action. (James 1:25)

·  And to those who received Him, to those who believe in His name, He gave the power to become children of God, who were not born of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12,13)

· Your father is the devil; and you want to fulfill the lusts of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and did not stand in the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he speaks lies, he speaks his own, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44)

·  Everyone who abides in Him does not sin; every sinner has not seen Him and has not known Him. (1 John 3:6)

·  Whoever commits sin is of the devil, because the devil sinned first. It is for this reason that the Son of God appeared, in order to destroy the works of the devil. Everyone who is born of God does not sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. The children of God and the children of the devil are recognized in this way: everyone who does not do righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. (1 John 3:8-10)

·  Beloved! do not imitate evil, but good. He who does good is from God; but he who does evil has not seen God. (3 John 1:11)
