The New Testament is for children. The Acts of the Holy Apostles

They expected that he would have inflammation, or that he would suddenly fall dead; but having waited a long time, and seeing that no misfortune had befallen him, they changed their minds, and said that he was God.

Near that place were the estates of the governor of the island, whose name was Publius; He received us and treated us in a friendly way for three days.

The father of Publius lay suffering from fever and pain in his stomach; Paul went in to him, prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.

And after these things the rest of the island, who had sicknesses, came and were healed,

And they did us much honour, and when we departed, they provided us with what we needed.

And after three months we sailed in the ship of Alexandria, which was called the Dioscuri, which had wintered in that island,

And having sailed to Syracuse, they tarried there three days.

And from thence they sailed, and came to Rhaega; and after a day the south wind blew, they came on the second day to Puteoli,

where they found the brethren, and were entreated to tarry with them seven days, and then they went to Rome.

And the brethren there, hearing of us, went out to meet us as far as the Appian Square and the three inns. When Paul saw them, he thanked God and was of good cheer.

And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the army, and Paul was allowed to dwell separately with the soldier who guarded him.

And after three days Paul called together the nobles of the Jews, and when they had come together, he said to them, 'Men, brethren! having done nothing against the people or the customs of my fathers, I am in chains from Jerusalem delivered into the hands of the Romans.

And they judged me, and would have set me free, because there is no guilt in me worthy of death;

but because the Jews were contradictory, I was compelled to seek judgment from Caesar, but not to accuse my people of anything.
