And when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, 'Arise, take the child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be there until I tell you, for Herod wants to seek the child to destroy him.'

And he arose, and took the child and his mother by night, and went into Egypt,

And there he was until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, 'Out of Egypt I have called my Son.'

Then Herod, seeing himself mocked by the Magi, was very angry, and sent to slay all the babes in Bethlehem and in all its borders, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had learned from the Magi.

Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying,

A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and weeping, and a great cry; Rachel weeps for her children and does not want to be comforted, for they are gone.

And after the death of Herod, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream in Egypt

And he saith, Arise, and take the child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel, for those who sought the life of the child are dead.

And he arose, and took the child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.

And when he heard that Archelaus reigned in Judea in the place of Herod his father, he feared to go thither; but having received a revelation in a dream, he went into the borders of Galilee

And when he came, he dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, that he should be called a Nazarene.
