45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.

E-46 They come to Jericho. And when He was going out of Jericho with His disciples and a multitude of people, Bartimaeus the son of Timaeus, sitting blind by the roadside, begging alms.

47 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, saying, "Jesus, Son of David! have mercy on me.

48 Many silenced him; but he cried out all the more, "Son of David!" have mercy on me.

E-49 Jesus stopped and told him to be called. They called the blind man and said to him: "Do not be afraid, get up, he is calling you."

50 He threw off his outer garment, arose, and came to Jesus.

51 And Jesus answered him, and asked, 'What do you want of me?' The blind man said to Him, "Teacher! so that I can see.

52 Jesus said to him, 'Go, your faith has saved you.' And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.

Chapter 11

1 As they drew near to Jerusalem, to Bethpage, and to Bethany, to the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples

2 And he saith unto them, Go ye to the village which is directly before you; entering it, you will immediately find a tied young donkey, on which no man has mounted; And when you have untied him, bring him in.

3 And if anyone says to you, 'Why do you do this?' — answer that the Lord needs him; and immediately send him hither.

4 They went and found a young ass tied up at the gate in the street, and untied him.

5 And some of those standing there said to them, 'What are you doing?' Why do you untie the colt?
