New Testament under the editorship of Bishop. Cassiana Bezobrazova

13 But exhort one another every day, as long as it is said, 'Today,' lest any man be hardened against you by the deceitfulness of sin.

14 For we have become partakers of Christ, if only we keep the foundation of our assurance firm to the end,

15 according to what has been said: Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts, as in rebellion.

16 For who, when they heard, was troubled? Did not all those who came out of Egypt because of Moses?

17 Against whom has he been indignant for forty years? Is it not on those who have sinned, whose bones fell in the wilderness?

18 To whom did he swear that they would not enter into his rest, but to those who were not disobedient?

E-19 And we see that they could not come in because of unbelief.

Hebrews 4

1 Let us therefore beware while there is still a promise to enter into his rest, lest any of you think that he is late.

2 For the gospel was preached unto us, even unto them; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united with the faith of those who heard;

3 For we who have believed enter into rest, as he said, I have sworn in my wrath, that they shall not enter into my rest, though his works have been done from the foundation of the world.

4 For he said somewhere about the seventh day thus: And God rested on the seventh day from all his works;

5 and again, they shall not enter in, but my rest.

6 Wherefore it remains for some to enter into it, and those to whom the gospel was formerly preached did not enter in because of disobedience,

7 Again he designates a certain day, "today," speaking through David, after so long a time, as it was said above, "Today, if ye hear his voice, do not harden your hearts."

8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have continued to speak of another day after that.

9 So there remains the Sabbath for the people of God.

10 For he who entered into His rest also rested from his works, as God from His.

11 Let us therefore endeavour to enter into this rest, lest any man fall by following the same example of disobedience.

12 For the word of God is alive and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and pierces to the division of soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and judges the movements and thoughts of the heart.

13 And there is no creature hidden before him, but all things are naked and open before his eyes. We will give him an account.
