Text of the Lectionary in the Synodal translation

The Epistle to the Galatians, conceived 213

Brethren, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control. There is no law on them. But those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with passions and lusts. If we live in the spirit, then we must act in the spirit. Let us not be vain, irritate each other, envy each other. Brethren, even if a man falls into any sin, you, who are spiritual, correct him in a spirit of meekness, watching each one for himself, so that he may not be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ.

The Epistle to the Galatians, conceived 214

Brethren, bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ. For whoever considers himself to be something, being nothing, deceives himself. Let each one examine his own work, and then he will have praise only in himself, and not in another, for each will bear his own burden. Being instructed by the word, share all good things with the one who instructs. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked. What a man sows, that he will also reap: he who sows in his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but he who sows in the spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit. In doing good, let us not lose heart, for in due time we shall reap, if we do not faint. Therefore, while there is time, let us do good to all, and especially to our own in faith.

Galatians, conceived 215a

Brethren, you see how much I have written to you with my own hand. Those who want to boast in the flesh compel you to be circumcised only in order not to be persecuted for the cross of Christ, for even those who are circumcised do not keep the law, but want you to be circumcised, that you may boast in your flesh. And I do not wish to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world is crucified for me, and I for the world. For in Christ Jesus there is no circumcision or uncircumcision, but a new creation. To those who walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and on the Israel of God. But let no man burden me, for I bear the wounds of the Lord Jesus upon my body. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with your spirit, brethren. Amen.
