Brethren, you see how much I have written to you with my own hand. Those who want to boast in the flesh compel you to be circumcised only in order not to be persecuted for the cross of Christ, for even those who are circumcised do not keep the law, but want you to be circumcised, that you may boast in your flesh. And I do not wish to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world is crucified for me, and I for the world. For in Christ Jesus there is no circumcision or uncircumcision, but a new creation. To those who walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and on the Israel of God. But let no man burden me, for I bear the wounds of the Lord Jesus upon my body. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with your spirit, brethren. Amen.

Павел, волею Божиею Апостол Иисуса Христа, находящимся в Ефесе святым и верным во Христе Иисусе: благодать вам и мир от Бога Отца нашего и Господа Иисуса Христа. Благословен Бог и Отец Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, благословивший нас во Христе всяким духовным благословением в небесах, так как Он избрал нас в Нем прежде создания мира, чтобы мы были святы и непорочны пред Ним в любви, предопределив усыновить нас Себе чрез Иисуса Христа, по благоволению воли Своей, в похвалу славы благодати Своей, которою Он облагодатствовал нас в Возлюбленном, в Котором мы имеем искупление Кровию Его, прощение грехов, по богатству благодати Его, каковую Он в преизбытке даровал нам во всякой премудрости и разумении, открыв нам тайну Своей воли по Своему благоволению.
