V. Adamenko Service Book

After the ninth canto, the katavasia, or: "It is worthy to bless Thee, as the true Mother of God, the Eternally Blessed and Most Immaculate, and the Mother of our God, More Honorable than the Cherubim and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim, Who gave birth to God the Word, the True Mother of God, we magnify Thee."

The deacon sang the Little Litany, and the priest (11th morning prayer): "O God, our God, Who hast established by His will the rational and spiritual Powers, we beseech Thee and beseech Thee: Accept our doxology, which is offered to Thee with all Thy creatures, and repay us with the gifts of Thy abundant mercies, for Thou art the only true and merciful God, and before Thee every knee in heaven, on earth, and under the earth bows, and all living things sing of Thy incomprehensible glory, For all the heavenly hosts praise Thee, and we send up glory to Thee, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and always, and unto the ages of ages." People: "Amen." Deacon: "Holy is the Lord our God," verse 1: "For the Lord our God is holy." 2. "Our God is over all men." People: "Holy is the Lord our God" (three times) and the morning exapostilarion (sent)

And psalms of praise.

Psalm 148. "Let everything that breathes praise the Lord. Praise the Lord from heaven, praise Him in the highest, to Thee God belongs the song. Praise Him, all His angels, praise Him, all His hosts, to Thee God belongs the song. Praise Him, sun and moon, praise Him, all the stars of light. Praise Him, O heavens of heavens, and waters that are higher than heavens. Let them praise the name of the Lord, for He spoke, and they were made, commanded, and created. He set them for ever and ever; He gave a statute that will not pass away. Praise the Lord from the earth, great fishes and all the deeps, fire and hail, snow and mist, the stormy wind that do His fishing, the mountains and all the hills, the fruitful trees and all the cedars, the beasts and all the cattle, the creeping things and the winged birds, the kings of the earth and all the nations, the princes and judges of the earth, young men and maidens, old men and youths. Let them praise the name of the Lord; for His name alone is exalted, His glory is on earth and in heaven. He has exalted the horn of His people, the glory of all His saints, the children of Israel, the people who are close to Him."

Psalm 149. "Sing a new song to the Lord; praise be to Him in the assembly of the saints. Let Israel rejoice in their Creator; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King; Let them praise His name with faces, let them sing to Him on the tympanum and harp. For the Lord is pleased with His people, He glorifies the humble with salvation. Let the saints rejoice in glory, let them rejoice in their couches. Let praise be to God in their mouths, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to avenge the nations/punish the nations, to put their kings in chains, and their nobles in iron fetters." With this verse the stichera on 6:1 begins. "To execute a written judgment on them. This is honor to all His saints." Psalm 150. 2. "Praise God in His holiness, praise Him in the firmament of His power. 3. Praise Him according to His might, praise Him according to the multitude of His majesty. 4. Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet, praise Him with the psalter and the harp. 5. Praise Him with the tympanum and the choir, praise Him with the strings and the organ. 6. Praise Him with loud cymbals, praise Him with loud cymbals. Let everything that breathes praise the Lord." On the 2nd tone. "Glory and now" and the hymn to the Most Holy Theotokos: "Blessed art Thou, O Virgin Mother of God, for to those who were incarnate from Thee hell is captive, Adam is returned from it, the curse is destroyed, Eve is given freedom, death is put to death, and we are called to life. Therefore, singing, we exclaim: Blessed is Christ God, Who is so well pleased, glory to Thee."

The priest, raising his hands: "Glory to Thee, Who hast shown us the light." People: the great doxology: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. We praise Thee, we bless Thee, we worship Thee, we praise Thee, we thank Thee for Thy great glory. Lord, King of Heaven, God, Father Almighty, Lord, Only-begotten Son Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit. Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, Who took away the sin of the world, have mercy on us; Thou who hast taken away the sins of the world, accept our prayer; Thou who sits on the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us, for Thou alone is Holy, Thou alone is the Lord, Jesus Christ, to the glory of God the Father. Amen. Every day I will bless Thee and praise Thy name for ever and ever. Grant us, O Lord, to be preserved without sin on this day. Blessed art Thou, O Lord, the God of our fathers, Thy name is praised and glorified for ever. Amen. Thy mercy be upon us, O Lord, for we trust in Thee. Blessed art thou, O Lord, teach me thy commandments. Blessed art thou, O Lord, teach me thy commandments. Blessed art thou, O Lord, teach me thy commandments. Lord, Thou hast been our refuge from generation to generation. I said, Lord, have mercy on me; heal my soul, so. how I have sinned against Thee. Lord, I run to Thee, teach me to do Thy will, for Thou art my God, and with Thee is the fountain of life; in Thy light we shall see the light. Extend Thy mercy to those who know Thee." "Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us" (three times). "Glory even now." Holy Immortal, have mercy on us. "Holy God......."

After the doxology, troparion 1, 3, 5, 7 tones: "Today is the salvation of the world; let us sing of Him Who rose from the grave and the Source of our life, for He, having destroyed death by His death, has granted us victory and great mercy." Chapters 2, 4, 6, 8: Having risen from the grave and torn the chains of hell, Thou, O Lord, hast destroyed the condemnation to death and delivered all from the snares of the enemy; having revealed Himself to His Apostles, He sent them to preach, and through them He gave peace to the world, the One Most Merciful."

Remember, O Lord, according to the multitude of Thy mercies all Thy people who are with us and pray with us, and all our brethren who are on earth, on the sea, in every place of Thy dominion, who are in need of Thy love for mankind and help, and grant Thy great mercy to all, that those who are always saved in soul and body may boldly glorify Thy wondrous and blessed name, for Thou art a God of mercy, mercies and love for mankind, and to Thee do we send glory, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and always, and unto the ages of ages." Blessed art Thou that Thou hast vouchsafed us to live a long day and to live until the beginning of the night; Hear our prayer and that of all Thy people, and forgive all of us our sins, voluntary and involuntary. Accept at this hour our evening praises, thanksgivings, and prayers, and send down the multitude of Thy mercy and Thy mercies upon Thy inheritance, upon this church, upon its community, upon our city, country, and upon us. World. Surround us as with a wall with Thy holy angels, arm us with the weapon of righteousness, guard us with Thy truth, preserve us by Thy power, deliver us from every danger and from every diabolical suggestion. Send us also this evening with the coming night, blameless, holy, peaceful, sinless, without temptations and visions, as all the days of our life, through the prayers of the Holy Theotokos and all the saints, please Thee for eternity, so that we, who are always preserved under Thy power, may send glory to Thee, to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and always, unto the ages of ages."
