Text of the Festal Menaion in Russian

Let us pray to the Lord for peace from above and for the salvation of our souls.

For the peace of the whole world, for the firm standing of the holy Churches of God, and for the unity of all, let us pray to the Lord.

For this holy church and for all who enter it with faith, reverence and fear of God, let us pray to the Lord.

For our most holy patriarch (name), and for our most reverend metropolitan (or: archbishop, or: bishop) (name), venerable presbytery, deaconate in Christ, for all the clergy and people of God, let us pray to the Lord.

For our God-preserved Russian country, for all its people and authorities, let us pray to the Lord.

For our city (or: for our village, or: for this holy monastery), for all cities and countries, and for those who live in them by faith, let us pray to the Lord.

For favorable weather, for the abundance of the fruits of the earth, and for times of peace, let us pray to the Lord.

For those who sail, for those who travel, for the sick, for the suffering, for the captives, and for their salvation, let us pray to the Lord.

For the consecration of this water by the power, and action, and inspiration of the Holy Spirit, let us pray to the Lord.

Let us pray to the Lord for the coming of the purifying action of the Super-Essential Trinity upon these waters.

Let us pray to the Lord for the grace of deliverance, the blessing of the Jordan by the power and action and inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

May Satan soon be crushed under our feet and all evil intent directed against us be destroyed, let us pray to the Lord.

That the Lord God may deliver us from every slander and temptation of the adversary and make us worthy of the promised blessings, let us pray to the Lord.

For the enlightenment of us by the light of knowledge and piety by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, let us pray to the Lord.
