Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

17 Instead of thy fathers, thy sons shall be; Thou shalt make them princes over all the earth.

18 I will make thy name remembered for generations and generations; therefore the nations shall praise thee for ever and ever.

Psalm 45

1 To the head of the choir. The sons of Korah. On the musical instrument Alamoth. Canto.

2 God is our refuge and strength, a quick helper in trouble,

3 Therefore let us not be afraid, though the earth be shaken, and the mountains be moved into the heart of the seas.

4 Let their waters roar, their waters heav, the mountains tremble because of their agitation.

5 The streams of the river rejoice the city of God, the holy dwelling place of the Most High.

6 God is in his midst; he will not waver: God will help him early in the morning.

7 The nations roared; the kingdoms moved: [the Most High] gave His voice, and the earth melted.

8 The Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our intercessor.

9 Come, and see the works of the Lord, what hath he wrought in the earth;

10 And he ceased to fight to the ends of the earth, and broke the bow, and broke the spear, and burned the chariots with fire.

11 Stop and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth.

12 The Lord of hosts is with us, the God of Jacob our intercessor.

Psalm 46

1 To the head of the choir. The sons of Korah. Psalm.

2 Clap all the nations with your hands, cry out to God with a voice of joy;

3 for the Lord the Most High is terrible, the great King over all the earth;

4 He has subdued nations and nations under our feet;

5 He hath chosen for us our inheritance, the beauty of Jacob, whom thou hast loved.
