8 And they shall eat his flesh this very night, baked in the fire. with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs, let them eat it;

9 You shall not eat of it unbaked, or boiled in water, but you shall eat the things baked in the fire, the head with the legs and the intestines.

10 You shall not leave it until morning, but you shall burn what is left of it until morning.

11 Eat it thus: let your loins be girded up, your shoes on your feet, and your staves in your hands, and eat it with haste: this is the Passover of the Lord.

12 But I will go this very night through the land of Egypt, and I will smite every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from man to beast, and I will execute judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord.

13 And you will have blood as a sign on the houses where you are, and I will see the blood, and I will pass by you, and there will be no destructive plague among you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

14 And this day shall be remembered unto you, and ye shall keep on it the feast of the Lord for all your generations; as an everlasting institution, celebrate it.

15 Seven days ye shall eat unleavened bread; From the first day you shall destroy leaven in your houses, for whoever eats leaven from the first day until the seventh day shall be cut off from among Israel.

16 And on the first day you shall have a holy convocation, and on the seventh day a holy convocation: no work shall be done in them. Just what everyone eats, one thing you can do.

17 Observe the unleavened bread, for in this very day I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt, and watch this day throughout your generations, as an everlasting institution.

18 From the fourteenth day of the first month, from the evening you shall eat unleavened bread until the evening of the twenty-first day of the same month.

19 For seven days there shall be no leaven in your houses: for whosoever eateth leaven, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger or a natural inhabitant of the land.

20 Ye shall not eat any leavened thing; in every place where you dwell you shall eat unleavened bread.

21 And Moses called together all the elders of Israel, and said to them, 'Choose and take for yourselves lambs according to your families, and kill the passover;
