Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

Seven days ye shall eat unleavened bread; From the first day you shall destroy leaven in your houses, for whoever eats leaven from the first day until the seventh day shall be cut off from among Israel.

And on the first day you shall have a holy convocation, and on the seventh day a holy convocation: no work shall be done in them. Just what everyone eats, one thing you can do.

Observe the unleavened bread, for in this very day I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt, and watch this day throughout your generations, as an everlasting institution.

From the fourteenth day of the first month, from the evening you shall eat unleavened bread until the evening of the twenty-first day of the same month.

For seven days there shall be no leaven in your houses: for whosoever eateth leaven, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger or a natural inhabitant of the land.

Ye shall not eat any leavened thing; in every place where you dwell you shall eat unleavened bread.

And Moses called together all the elders of Israel, and said to them, 'Choose and take for yourselves lambs according to your families, and kill the passover;

And take a bundle of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the vessel, and anoint the crossbeam and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the vessel. but you no one go out of the door of your house until morning.

And the LORD shall go to smite Egypt, and shall see the blood on the crossbeam and on the two doorposts, and the LORD shall pass by the doors, and shall not suffer the destroyer to enter into your houses to smite.

Keep these things as a law for yourselves, and for your sons, for ever.

When you enter the land which the Lord will give you, as he said, observe this ministry.

And when your children shall say unto you, What is this service?

Say to them, 'This is the Passover sacrifice to the Lord, who passed by the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when He smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses.' And the people bowed down and bowed.

And the children of Israel went and did as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
