Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

21 And every one had four faces, and each had four wings, and under their wings were the likeness of human hands.

22 And the likeness of their faces is the same as that which I saw by the river Chebar, both their appearance and themselves. Everyone walked straight in the direction that was in front of him.

Chapter 11

1 And the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me to the east gate of the house of the Lord, which is facing east. And behold, at the entrance of the gate there were twenty-five men; and among them I saw Jazanah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, the princes of the people.

2 And he said unto me, Son of man! These are the people who have iniquity on their minds, and who give evil counsel in this city;

3 saying, "It is not yet near; we will build houses; he is a cauldron, and we are meat."

4 Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

5 And the Spirit of the Lord came upon me, and said unto me, Speak, thus saith the Lord: What ye say, O house of Israel, and whatsoever comes into your mind, this I know.

6 Many of your slain you have laid in this city, and the streets thereof have been filled with carcasses.

7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, 'Your slain, whom you have put in the midst of him, are meat, but he is a cauldron; but I will bring you out of it.

8 You are afraid of the sword, and I will bring the sword against you, saith the Lord God.

9 And I will bring you out of it, and deliver you into the hand of strangers, and I will execute judgment on you.

10 By the sword ye shall fall; in the borders of Israel they will judge you, and you will know that I am the Lord.

11 It shall not be a cauldron unto you, neither shall ye be meat in it; in the borders of Israel I will judge you.
