Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

For the breastplate they made thick chains of twisted work of pure gold;

And they made two sockets of gold, and two rings of gold, and fastened the two rings to the two ends of the breastplate;

And they put the two braided chains of gold into two rings at the ends of the breastplate,

And the two ends of the two chains they fastened to the two sockets, and they fastened them to the shoulders of the ephod on the front of it.

And they also made two rings of gold, and fastened them to the other two ends of the breastplate, on the side which is to the ephod inward.

And they fastened the breastplate with the rings thereof to the rings of the ephod by a cord of blue wool, that it might be over the girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate should not stray from the ephod, as the Lord had commanded Moses.

And in the midst of the upper garment is a hole, like a hole in the armor, and around it a plating, that it may not fight;

And on the hem of the upper garment they made apples of blue, purple, and scarlet wool;

And they made the vertebrae of pure gold, and hung the vertebrae between the apples, along the hem of the upper garment, all around;

A vertebra and an apple, a vertebra and an apple, at the hem of the upper garment round and round for service, as the Lord commanded Moses.

And they made for Aaron, and for his sons, tunics of fine linen, woven,

And the coadar of fine linen, and the headbands of fine linen, and the undergarment of linen of fine woven linen,
