Bible. Books of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments

And the houses in the villages, around which there is no wall, are to be reckoned with the field of land: they may be redeemed, and on the jubilee they depart.

And the cities of the Levites, the houses in the cities of their possessions, the Levites may always redeem;

And whosoever of the Levites shall not redeem it, the house which is sold in the city of their possession shall go away in the jubilee, for the houses in the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.

And the fields around the cities are not to be sold, because it is their eternal possession.

If your brother becomes poor and decayed among you, then support him, whether he is a stranger or a sojourner, that he may dwell with you.

Thou shalt not take from it growth and profit, and thou shalt fear thy God. [I am the Lord,] that thy brother may dwell with thee;

Thou shalt not give him thy money on interest, nor give thy bread unto him for profit.

I am the Lord your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan, to be your God.

And when thy brother shall become poor among thee, and be sold unto thee, thou shalt not impose upon him the labor of a slave.

He shall be with you as a hireling, as a sojourner; Until the jubilee year, let him work for you,

And then he shall depart from thee, and himself, and his children with him, and return to his family, and shall again enter into the possession of his fathers,

for they are my servants, whom I brought up out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as slaves are sold;

thou shalt not rule over him with cruelty, but thou shalt fear thy God.

And that thy manservant and thy maidservant may be with thee, ye shall buy for yourselves a manservant and a maidservant of the nations that are round about you.
