O Most Holy Lady Lady Mother of God! Thou art the Most Honorable of all angels and archangels, and of all creatures: Thou art the helper of the oppressed, the hope of the hopeless, the intercessor of the poor, the consolation of the sorrowful, the nurse of the hungry, the garment of the naked, the healing of the sick, the salvation of sinners, the help and intercession of all Christians.

O All-Merciful Lady, Virgin Mother of God, Lady! By Thy mercy save and have mercy on our Orthodox people, our Great Lord and Father, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, Your Eminence Metropolitans, Archbishops and Bishops, and all the priestly and monastic ranks, authorities and armies, and all Orthodox Christians with Thy honorable robe; and beseech Thee, O Lady, Christ our God, Who was incarnate without seed, that He may bind us with His power from above against our invisible and visible enemies.

O All-Merciful Lady Mother of God! Raise us up from the depths of sin, and deliver us from famine, destruction, from cowardice and flood, from fire and sword, from the presence of foreigners and internecine strife, and from vain death, and from the attacks of the enemy, and from pernicious winds, and from deadly plagues, and from all evil. Grant, O Lady, peace and health to Thy servant, all Orthodox Christians, and enlighten their minds and heartfelt eyes unto salvation, and vouchsafe us, Thy sinful servants, the Kingdom of Thy Son, Christ our God, for His dominion is blessed and most glorified, with His Father, Who has no beginning, and with His Most-Holy, Good, and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages.

Before the Icon "The Sight of the Eyes" (On the Friday of Bright Week)

O Most Holy Lady Lady Mother of God! Accept our unworthy prayer, and preserve all of us, who with faith and love worship Thy most pure image, from the slander of evil men and from sudden death, and grant us repentance before the end. Be merciful to our prayers, and grant joy instead of sorrow. For behold, beholding Thy image, as Thou who dwellest with us, we pray Thee fervently: deliver us, O Mother of all who sorrow and are burdened, from every misfortune and misfortune, sorrow, sickness and sorrow, and from all evil. And vouchsafe us, Thy unworthy servants, at the right hand of Thy Son, Christ our God, at His second and glorious coming, and heirs of the Kingdom of Heaven and eternal life with all the Saints unto the endless ages of ages.

Fervent intercessor, Mother of the Most High Lord! Thou art the help and intercession of all Christians, especially in trouble. Look now down from the heights of Thy holiness and upon us, who with faith worship Thy most pure image, and manifest, we beseech Thee, Thy speedy help to those who sail on the sea, and to those who suffer heavy sorrow from stormy winds. Move all Orthodox Christians to salvation in the waters of the drowning, and reward those who strive for this with Thy rich mercies and mercies. For behold, beholding Thy image, we offer our humble supplications to Thee, as mercifully being with us. For there is no other help, no other intercession, no consolation, but Thee, O Mother of all who sorrow and are attacked. Thou art our Hope and Intercessor according to God, and trusting in Thee, we commit ourselves and each other, and all our life to Thee unto the ages of ages. Amen.
