2 Have mercy on me, O God, for man hath trampled upon me, all day long struggling with the cold. 3 My enemies have trampled upon me all the day, as many are struggling with me from on high. 4 In the day I will not fear, but I trust in Thee. 5 In God I will praise my words, I trust in God, I will not fear what the flesh will do to me? 6 All day long I abhor my words, all their thoughts are against me for evil. 7 They shall dwell and hide them, they shall keep my heel, as they have suffered my soul. 8 Thou shalt not deny it, Thou hast brought down men with wrath. 9 O God, my life has declared unto Thee, Thou hast laid down my tears before Thee, as also in Thy promise. 10 Let my enemies turn back, if I call upon thee in the day, behold, I know that thou art my God. 11 In God I will praise the word, in the Lord I will praise the word. 12 In God I trust, I will not fear, what shall man do to me? 13 Prayers are in me, O God, that I will give Thy praises, 14 for Thou hast delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my nose from encroachment, I am pleased with the Lord in the light of the living.

In the end, that thou shalt not corrupt David into the pillar, when he flees from the presence of Saul into the cave, 56

2 Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in Thee my soul trusts, and in Thy shadow I trust, until iniquity shall pass away. 3 I will call upon the Most High God, the God who has done me good. 4 Send from heaven and save me, give me a reproach to those who trample on me, God has sent His mercy and His truth, 5 and deliver my soul from the midst of the Skim. His eyes are confused, sons of mankind, their teeth of weapons and arrows, and their tongue is sharp. 6 Thou art taken up into heaven, O God, and thy glory is over all the earth. 7 Thou hast prepared a snare for my feet, and has slush my soul, and has dug a pit before me, and has fallen into it. 8 My heart is ready, O God, my heart is ready, I will sing and sing in my glory. 9 Arise my glory, arise the psalter and the harp, I will rise early. 10 Let us praise thee among men, O Lord, I will sing unto thee in tongues, 11 for thy mercy shall be magnified unto heaven, and even unto the clouds shall thy truth. 12 Ascend into heaven, O God, and Thy glory is over all the earth.

In the end, that thou shalt not corrupt, to David in the pillar, 57

2 For if ye speak righteousness, judge righteously, O sons of men. 3 For in your heart you do iniquity on the earth, your hands weave iniquity.4 Sinners are alienated from their beds, they have gone astray from their wombs, they have spoken lies. 5 Their wrath is like a serpent, like a deaf adder, and stopping his ears, 6 who hears not the voice of those who pray, he is charmed by wisdom. 7 God will break their teeth in their mouths, the members of the lions are broken by the Lord.8 They will be humbled like passing water, they will bend their bows, until they are faint. 9 As the wax melted away, the fire fell upon them, and did not see the sun. 10 First understand the thorns of your ram, for they are alive, for in anger I shall devour. 11 The righteous shall rejoice when he sees vengeance, and he shall wash his hands in the blood of the sinner. 12 And the man saith, If there be fruit for the righteous, for there is God judging them on the earth.

Glory:

In the end, that thou shalt not corrupt David into the pillar, when Saul is the ambassador, and guard his house, that thou shalt put him to death, 58

2 Deliver me from my enemies, O God, and deliver me from them that rise up against me. 3 Deliver me from those who do iniquity, and save me from men of blood. 4 For behold, Thou hast caught my soul, Thou hast assailed me with might, lower is my iniquity, lower is my sin, O Lord. 5 Without iniquity, I have flowed and corrected, arise to meet me, and see. 6 And thou, O Lord God of hosts, O God of Israel, enter into all tongues, that thou mayest not be merciful to all that doeth iniquity. 7 They shall return to the evening, and hunger like a dog, and shall go round the city. 8 And they shall speak with their mouths, and the sword in their mouths, for who has heard? 9 And you, O Lord, laugh at them, despise all tongues. 10 I will keep my power to Thee, for Thou art my Defender, O God. 11 My God, His mercy shall precede me, and my God shall shew me upon my enemies. 12 Slay them not, lest they forget thy law, but scatter me by thy power, and bring me down, O my defender, O Lord. 13 The sin of their mouths, the word of their mouth, and let them be in their pride, and by oaths and lies they shall be proclaimed in the end. 14 In wrath shall they perish, and shall not be, and shall be led away, for God has dominion over Jacob and the ends of the earth. 15 And they shall return to the evening, and shall hunger like a dog, and shall go round the city. 16 And they shall be eaten. And if they are not satisfied, they will profane. 17 And I will sing of Thy power, and I will rejoice in Thy mercy in the morning, for Thou wast my Protector and my Refuge in the day of my trouble. 18 Thou art my helper, I sing to Thee: For God art my Defender, O my God, my mercy.
