14 А я всегда буду уповать [на Тебя] и умножать всякую хвалу Тебе. 15 Уста мои будут возвещать правду Твою, всякий день благодеяния Твои; ибо я не знаю им числа. 16 Войду в размышление о силах Господа Бога; воспомяну правду Твою – единственно Твою. 17 Боже! Ты наставлял меня от юности моей, и доныне я возвещаю чудеса Твои. 18 И до старости, и до седины не оставь меня, Боже, доколе не возвещу силы Твоей роду сему и всем грядущим могущества Твоего.

19 Правда Твоя, Боже, до превыспренних; великие дела соделал Ты; Боже, кто подобен Тебе? 20 Ты посылал на меня многие и лютые беды, но и опять оживлял меня и из бездн земли опять выводил меня. 21 Ты возвышал меня и утешал меня, [и из бездн земли выводил меня]. 22 И я буду славить Тебя на псалтири, Твою истину, Боже мой; буду воспевать Тебя на гуслях, Святый Израилев!

23 Радуются уста мои, когда я пою Тебе, и душа моя, которую Ты избавил; 24 и язык мой всякий день будет возвещать правду Твою, ибо постыжены и посрамлены ищущие мне зла. Псалом 71 О Соломоне. [Псалом Давида.] 1 Боже! даруй царю Твой суд и сыну царя Твою правду, 2 да судит праведно людей Твоих и нищих Твоих на суде; 3 да принесут горы мир людям и холмы правду; 4 да судит нищих народа, да спасет сынов убогого и смирит притеснителя, – 5 и будут бояться Тебя, доколе пребудут солнце и луна, в роды родов.

6 Он сойдет, как дождь на скошенный луг, как капли, орошающие землю; 7 во дни его процветет праведник, и будет обилие мира, доколе не престанет луна; 8 он будет обладать от моря до моря и от реки до концов земли; 9 падут пред ним жители пустынь, и враги его будут лизать прах; 10 цари Фарсиса и островов поднесут ему дань; цари Аравии и Савы принесут дары; 11 и поклонятся ему все цари; все народы будут служить ему; 12 ибо он избавит нищего, вопиющего и угнетенного, у которого нет помощника.

13 Будет милосерд к нищему и убогому, и души убогих спасет; 14 от коварства и насилия избавит души их, и драгоценна будет кровь их пред очами его; 15 и будет жить, и будут давать ему от золота Аравии, и будут молиться о нем непрестанно, всякий день благословлять его; 16 будет обилие хлеба на земле, наверху гор; плоды его будут волноваться, как лес на Ливане, и в городах размножатся люди, как трава на земле; 17 будет имя его [благословенно] вовек; доколе пребывает солнце, будет передаваться имя его; и благословятся в нем [все племена земные], все народы ублажат его.

Слава: Псалом 72 Псалом Асафа. 1 Как благ Бог к Израилю, к чистым сердцем! 2 А я – едва не пошатнулись ноги мои, едва не поскользнулись стопы мои, – 3 я позавидовал безумным, видя благоденствие нечестивых, 4 ибо им нет страданий до смерти их, и крепки силы их; 5 на работе человеческой нет их, и с прочими людьми не подвергаются ударам.

6 Оттого гордость, как ожерелье, обложила их, и дерзость, как наряд, одевает их; 7 выкатились от жира глаза их, бродят помыслы в сердце; 8 над всем издеваются, злобно разглашают клевету, говорят свысока; 9 поднимают к небесам уста свои, и язык их расхаживает по земле. 10 Потому туда же обращается народ Его, и пьют воду полною чашею, 11 и говорят: «как узнает Бог? и есть ли ведение у Вышнего?

12 And behold, these wicked ones prosper in this world, multiplying riches. 13 [And I said:] Have I not cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocence, 14 and subjected myself to wounds all day long, and chastisement every morning? 15 But if I were to say, 'I will reason thus,' I should be guilty before the offspring of thy sons. 16 And I thought how to understand these things, but it was difficult in my eyes, 17 until I entered into the sanctuary of God, and understood their end. E-18 Yes!

Thou hast set them on slippery paths, and hast cast them into the abyss. 19 How accidentally they came to ruin, vanished, perished from terrors! 20 As a dream after waking up, so thou, O Lord, when thou awakest them, shalt destroy their dreams. 21 When my heart was boiling, and my inward parts were tormented, 22 then I was ignorant, and did not understand; I was like cattle before you.

23 But I am always with you: you hold me by the right hand; 24 Thou hast guided me by thy counsel, and afterwards thou shalt receive me into glory. 25 Who am I in heaven? and with Thee I desire nothing on earth. 26 My flesh and my heart are faint: God is the stronghold of my heart, and my portion for ever. 27 For behold, they that keep themselves away from thee perish; Thou destroyest every one who departs from Thee.

28 But it is good for me to draw near to God! In the Lord God I have placed my trust, to declare all thy works [in the gate of the daughter of Zion]. Psalm 73 The Teaching of Asaph. 1 Wherefore, O God, hath cast us away for ever? Is Thy wrath kindled against the sheep of Thy pasture? 2 Remember Thy assembly, which Thou hast acquired of old, Thou hast redeemed into a rod of Thy inheritance, this Mount Zion, on which Thou hast rejoiced.

3 Move Thy feet to the ruins of the ages: the enemy hath destroyed all things in the sanctuary. 4 Thy enemies roar in the midst of thy assemblies; they have put their signs in place of our signs; 5 showed themselves to be like one lifting up an axe on the intertwined branches of a tree; 6 and now all the carvings in it have been destroyed at one time with axes and reeds; 7 they have set fire to thy sanctuary; they have utterly defiled the dwelling place of thy name; 8 And they said in their hearts, 'Let us destroy them utterly,' and they burned all the places of assembly of God on the earth.

9 We do not see our signs, there is no longer a prophet, and there is no one with us who knows how long these things will be. 10 How long, O God, shall the enemy reproach? Shall the adversary forever blaspheme Thy name? 11 Why do you turn away your hand and your right hand? Out of the midst of Thy bosom smite them. 12 O God, my King from everlasting, who worketh salvation in the midst of the earth! 13 Thou hast parted the sea by Thy power, Thou hast broken the heads of the serpents in the waters; 14 Thou hast broken the head of the leviathan, thou hast given it for food to the people of the wilderness, [Ethiopians]; 15 Thou hast cut out the fountain and the stream, Thou hast dried up the mighty rivers.

16 Thy day and thy night: Thou hast prepared the lights and the sun; 17 Thou hast established all the boundaries of the earth, Thou hast established summer and winter. 18 Remember, then, the enemy blasphemes the Lord, and foolish men blaspheme your name. 19 Thou shalt not give up to the beasts the soul of thy turtledove; do not forget the assembly of Thy poor forever. 20 Look upon thy covenant; for all the dark places of the earth are filled with dwellings of violence.
