Book of Hours (Russian translation)

The Cherubim sing of Thy supreme power, / and the Angels worship Thy divine glory, / – receive us on earth, / who with unworthy lips praise Thee: / "Holy, Holy, Holy Thou art God:"

Glory: As laziness has put aside sleep, O soul, / awakening, show your correction to the Judge, / and with fear cry out: / "Holy, Holy, Holy Thou art O God, / through the prayers of all Thy saints, have mercy on us!"

And now: To the Unapproachable Divinity, the Trinity in Unity, / sending up the praise of the Trisagion Seraphim, / with fear let us cry out: / "Holy, Holy, Holy Thou art, O God, / through the prayers of the Mother of God, have mercy on us!"

Tone 8

Directing our hearts to heaven, / let us imitate the angelic order, / and with fear we fall down to the Incorruptible, / shouting victorious praise: / "Holy, Holy, Holy Thou art God:"

Glory: Not daring to look upon Thee, O Cherubim, / flying, lift up with an exclamation / the songs of the Trisagion God-inspired voice; / with them we also call upon Thee: / "Holy, Holy, Holy Thou art O God, / through the prayers of all Thy saints, have mercy on us!"

And now: Bending from the multitude of our sins, / and not daring to look at Thy height, / bowing down in soul and body, / with the Angels we proclaim a song to Thee: / "Holy, Holy, Holy Thou art, O God, / through the prayers of the Mother of God, have mercy on us!"

If the service is for the repose, we sing "Alleluia" (3) to the voice of the troparion, with the verses:

Verse 1: Blessed are those whom you have chosen and drawn near, O Lord.

Verse 2: Their remembrance shall be for generations and generations.

Verse 3: Their souls shall dwell in the midst of good things.

Wed. Ps 64:5; 101:13; 24:13

And the troparion for the repose (2); Glory, and now: Theotokos.
